America's Healthiest Schools | Butler Academy named one of America's healthiest schools | The Hartsville Messenger

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation has named Butler Academy one of America’s healthiest schools for 2024. The annual recognition honors schools for implementing best practices to support the health of students, staff, and families.

More than 875 schools across 30 states were given the honor this year. The schools are recognized in up to nine categories. Butler Academy was recognized for:

● Strengthening Social-Emotional Health and Learning, presented by Kaiser Permanente.

● Cultivating Staff Well-Being, presented by Kaiser Permanente.

● Implementing local school wellness policy.

● Bolstering physical education and activity.

● Enriching health education.
