Yasemin Rodriguez Corzo
Yasemin Rodriguez Corzo is an Associate Director on the Whole Child Health National Advisor Team. In her role, she leads and collaborates with a team of National Advisors to develop and curate resources, design and deliver high quality professional learnings, and cultivate and maintain national and regional partnerships to bolster practices and policies around Whole Child Health.
With a background in Peace and Human Right Education and education in emergencies, Yasemin has 10+ years working in classrooms, curriculum and content design, educational and workforce program implementation, and research. Prior to joining Healthier Generation, Yasemin served as the Program Manager for an educational nonprofit in Turkey, working along the Syrian border. Yasemin also worked at Sesame Workshop and helped develop initiatives and content used in more than ten countries. Yasemin has also worked in rural and urban parts of China, New York, Istanbul, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.
Yasemin holds a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in International Educational Development. She is committed to empowering humans to create a more equitable, empathic, and dynamic world.
Yasemin lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband. She is passionate about travel and creating itineraries, music, going for long walks, art, and spending time eating or thinking about food.
