Jonathan Wallace

Vice President, Business Development | Alliance for a Healthier Generation

Jonathan serves as the Senior Director of Business Development with Alliance for a Healthier Generation. In this role, he leads the development and growth of K-12 services and products, including The Walking Classroom; customized assessments, resources, and tools; intermediary and capacity building partnerships; and fee-based professional development and technical assistance. His team collaborates daily with educators, health leaders, communities, regional and state education agencies, and other stakeholders, to advance innovative, evidence-based solutions that will improve equitable whole child health. 

Jonathan joined Healthier Generation in 2013, working with out-of-school time programs to improve healthy practices and policies. He has also worked to establish strategic partnerships that improve access to healthier foods and beverages for schools, communities and families.  Prior to joining Healthier Generation, Jonathan worked with national organizations – including American Red Cross, Youth Volunteer Corps, and City Year – to engage students and youth in meaningful service and program opportunities.

Jonathan also serves as an instructor with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Arkansas Public Administration Consortium, where he facilitates courses on volunteer management and group facilitation.  He lives with his family in central Arkansas and enjoys exploring the Ouachita & Ozark mountains throughout the state.
