Isabel Kashani Lara is a National Advisor on the Whole Child Health team, focused on Family and Community Engagement. A part of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation since 2021, Isabel facilitates and creates content, provides implementation support to schools, districts and community partners. She aims to work in allyship with educators and their partners to foster environments that support the health and wellbeing of young people and those who serve them.

Prior to her time at Healthier Generation, Isabel has been serving young people in educational settings 2005. Her experience spans from out-of-school time instruction and program development, instructing in the classroom, designing curriculum and instructional models, educational coaching to increase student and staff retention, on-site and district administrative experience, and developing school-community partnerships. Isabel is committed to providing students and staff with enriching experiences in the process of learning as a community so we may all transform the reality we see – into the future we dream about.

Isabel holds a master’s in education, and credentials in secondary education and school administration.
