Staying Digitally Connected During COVID-19
As many of us transition to home-based learning and work, staying digitally connected has never been more critical. To help students, educators, families, and businesses stay connected during the COVID-19 outrbreak, many technology companies are offering temporary free, reduced-rate or upgraded and expanded access to their products and services.
- Some Internet providers, including Charter and Comcast, are temporarily offering free or reduced-rate Internet service to qualifying customers.
- Some wireless providers, including Verizon, are temporarily adding additional data free of charge to qualifying customers' plans. Contact your wireless provider to inquire about free or reduced-rate data upgrades.

Google for Education is offering tips, tools, and trainings for educators and IT administrators to engage students through distance learning. Free or expanded access to Google for Education products are available for qualifying users.

Zoom is temporarily lifting the 40-minute time limit on free Basic accounts for schools affected by the Coronavirus.
